Instructions:

For proper fit, remove links as necessary. Do not slide the prong collar over your dog’s head. This could cause injury. Instead, unfasten the quick-release latch located next to the swivel D-ring at the top of the collar. Place the collar around your dog’s neck and re-fasten.

To distribute the correct pressure properly, prongs should gently rest on the dog’s neck in the area right behind the dog’s ear and under the jawline.

Position collar so that the O-ring is on top. Attach to your leash.

Place the nylon safety back-up collar over your dog’s head and position it below the prong collar. The back-up collar should be loose and have no tension during normal use. It will only become tight should the prong collar links become separated.

Warning:

This collar is not intended to be used as a permanent walking collar

For safety purposes, always use the back-up collar

Once placed on your dog’s neck, behavior corrections can be mad with minimal effort

Remove the collar when not in use as a training device

The collar is NOT to be used while a dog is tied out or in a crate
